Fantastic Four Vol. 1 Issue 231

"In All the Gathered Gloom!"

As the Fantastic Four attempt to get the Baxter Building and the surrounding blocks back into our dimension and into Manhattan, they are faced by the threat of the alien Stygorr, ruler of Sub-Space, while the ordinary New Yorkers swept into the Negative Zone with the FF are gripped by panic and devolve into an angry mob. With the block's only police officer unable to maintain order, Construction Manager Lew Shiner quickly usurps the leadership of the stranded citizens with disastrous personal consequences.
