"Men!"
In deep space, a group of interstellar conquerors, comprised of myriad species and calling themselves 'The Conquest', make plans against their newest objective: Earth. Meanwhile in Australia, Wolverine notices the low morale among the men in camp. Taking a cue from Storm's all-ladies trip to LA, Wolverine suggests a trip with the guys to town. Shortly after arriving in Sydney, Wolverine's group, comprised of Colossus, Longshot, Havok and himself, witnesses the arrival of the invading Conquest.
Trivia
This issue parodies the DC Comics event Invasion!.
Among the various alien invaders are Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Jabba the Hutt, Boba Fett, and Yoda from Star Wars; Alf from ALF; a Xenomorph from Alien; E.T. from E.T.; and Hawkman, Green Lantern and G'nort from DC Comics.
The bar in Sydney, Munden'z, is named after Munden's Bar from First Comics' Grimjack by John Ostrander, who here is the bartender. Another version of Munden's appears in New Mutants #50, also by Chris Claremont.
The "great metropolitan television network" is the Daily Planet, with staff members Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, and Clark Kent.
